The following is a list of the ingredients used in all of the kibbles and why:

Fruits:

Apples

The skin is a great source of Calcium, Potassium, Phosphorus, and Iron, all important Pre and Post molt.
Apricots
A great source of Calcium, Simple sugars, Iron, and Phosphorus, all play an important role in crabby health and molting.
Avocado
Contain protein, potassium, vitamin E, C, and B, copper, phosphorus and magnesium. The fats in avocados increase the absorption of alpha and beta carotene.
Bananas
They are a high calorie food meaning they have carbohydrates for quick digestion and engery as well as protiens for prolonged energy. They are also a great source of Potassium, which is required in a hermit crabs diet for successful molting.
Blackberries
High in Vitamins A, B, C, & E, Calcium, Fiber and Iron.
Blueberries
Full of color enhancing nutrients as well as antioxidants that neutralize tissue damaging free radicals.
Cantelope
Full of potassium and vitamin C. The orange fruit contains large amounts of beta carotene (an anti-oxidant), which can aid in hermie exo coloration and controlling tissue damaging free radicals.
Cherries
Contain flavanoids as well as Potassium that is required for proper molting. They also work with Vitamin C to strengthen Collagen.
Coconut
Is a great source of fatty acids that aid in successful molting. Coconut is also a great source of potassium, which also aids in successful molting. Its has also been found that coconut crabs that eat lots of coconut have a blue tinted exo!
Cranberries
High in Vitamin C, and is full of anti-oxidants and phytonutrients to help prevent infections
Cucumber
A good source of vitamin C, Vitamin A and Potassium
Dates
A great source of Calcium, Phosphorus, Iron and natural sugars, all needed in a hermit crabs diet for proper molting.
Elderberries
Only flowers and berries are used, as the bark and leaves have a cyanogenic component. The berries contain tannins, as well as flavonoids and oils.
Kiwi
A great source of Vitamin C-an antioxidant to help keep tissue damaging free radicals low, also a great source for potassium, copper, magnesium, vitamin E, and manganese
Mango
Is high in Calcium, Phosphorus, Iron, Vitamin C and sugars. This fruit is also grown in tropical and subtropical lowlands where hermit crabs can be found.
Oranges & Peel
The fruit of an orange is full of Vitamin A, B, and C. The peel is high in calcium.
Papaya
Full of Sugars, Calcium and Vitamin C. This fruit can be found in areas native to hermit crabs.

Peaches
Is a source of natural sugars. Has anti-inflammatory properties due to the fruits high levels of Vitamin C and beta carotene
Pineapple
Full of natural sugars, Vitamin C, Potassium and Manganese. The sugars and potassium are needed in a hermit crabs diet for healthy molting.
Plantains
Native to tropical areas hermit crabs can be found such as Florida, the Carribean, Central America and South America. This fruit contains lots of carbohydrates as well as a high amount of potassium.
Plums
This fruit is high carbohydrates/sugars, and a great source of vitamin A, calcium, magnesium, iron, potassium.
Pumpkin & Seeds
Pumpkin seeds are a good source of fatty acids amino acids, calcium and phosphorus. The fruit of the pumpkin is high in beta caroten, which is known to have anti-inflammatory properties as well as adding coloration to our crabbies exo. Pumpkin also contains calcium, zinc, protien, natural sugars and potassium.
Raisins
Raisins are packed full of tannin, which can add some coloration to a hermit crabs exo. They are also a great source of natural sugars, potassium and anti-oxidants. Raisins are a great vacation food for your hermies as they take a long time to mold in the 'tat!!
Raspberries
Red raspberries have a nice dark color perhaps aiding in exo coloration. They are a great source of Vitamin C, Iron, Potassium and Antioxidants.
Squash
A great source of natural sugars, also a good source of iron, calcium and carotenoids
Strawberries
High in potassium, Vitamin C, Iron, and pectin. Strawberries also have Iodine, which is a very important mineral in hermit crab molting. Natural iodine is also found in seaweeds & seavegges that are native to a hermit crabs natural environment.
Tomatoes
contains vitamin C and A, fiber, beta-carotene, iron, lycopene (which gives tomatoes thier red color!), magnesium, niacin, potassium, phosphorus, riboflavin and thiamine. Tomatoes also have an antioxidant property.
Watermellon
High in Vitamin A & Vitamin C.

Veggies, Seaweeds & Greens:

Arame

A brown algae, containing cellulose, Vitamin A, Calcium, Potassium, zinc and a natural source of iodine--important in molting.
Black Olives

Bladderwrack
A great seaveggie that is high in carotene, zeaxanthin, and iodine.
Broccoli
A veggie rich in calcium, iron and magnesium and exceeds oranges in concentration of Vitamin C.
Carrots
Contain a high amount of beta carotene and are a good source of cellulose, potassium and copper. Also a good source of natural sugars.
Chlorella
Considered a "super food" its similar to Spirulina in its imporance in a hermit crabs diet. It contains innumberable minerals and vitamins as well as phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, iron, calcium, manganese, copper, zinc, iodine, Vitamin C, Beta-carotene
Cilantro
Cilantro (Corriander is its seed) is high in Vitamins A, C, and E. Its also a good source of Calcium, Zinc, Iron, Potassium & Phosphate, all required in a hermit crabs diet for proper molting.
Clover Sprouts
Contain Isoflavones, a disease fighting chemical. They area also a source of nitrogens, an important part of a hermit crabs diet.
Corn
A good source of carbohydrate and natural sugars because its a fast converting sugar. Also high in omega fatty acids. The kernel is a great source of cellulose when popped!
Dandelion Leaf
Contains Iron, Calcium, Phosporus, Vitamins A & C, all important for a hermie to have proper absorption of vitamins and minerals leading to a healthy exo.
Dandelion Root
Contains many vitamins such as A, B, C and D and is known for its medicinal properties. It also is high in tannin, with its darkend brown coloration, that will add a touch of color to your hermit crabs exo! Dandelion root is also a source of natural cellulose, important to premolt and postmolt times.
Dulse
A deep red seaweed that is high in iron, calcium, potassium and magnesium. It is also a natural source of iodine and zinc
Eggplant
Full of Vitamin C, potassium and calcium
Greenbeans

Green Bell Pepper
A good source of Copper, Potassium and twice as much Vitamin C as citrus fruit.
Irish Moss
A seaweed that is a natural antimicrobial and anti-viral agent used to prevent infections. It is also natural source of potassium chloride as iodine.
Jalepeno

Kale
Packed full of beta carotene and Vitamin C as well as iron, manganese, potassium and calcium
Kelp
A brown seaweed much like kombu, and contains high amounts of calcium, potassium, magnesium and iron. Kelp is the riches natural source of iodine. Also a good source of zinc.
Kombu
A brown seaweed that rich in protein, calcium, iodine, magnesium, and iron.
Mushrooms
Full of natural anti-oxidants such as Selenium and Ergothioneine. They are a good source of potassium and Vitamin D.
Nori
A green algae that is a great source of calcium, zinc and natural iodine
Orange bell Pepper
A great source of manganese, copper, potassium, beta carotene, and zeaxanthin.
Purple Seaweed ("Laver")
High in protein and is a good source of Vitamin E (Alpha Tocopherol), Pantothenic Acid, Calcium, Phosphorus and Zinc, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Riboflavin, Niacin, Iron, Potassium, Copper and Manganese.
Peas
Contains anti-inflammatory properties due to its high concentration of Vitamin C, Zinc, Selenium and Beta Carotene. This food is also high in zeaxanthin, which helps to properly regulate a hermit crabs body.
Red Cabbage
A good source of natural sugars as well as Calcium, Iron, magnesium, cellulose, Vitamin C, Potassium and Manganese. Red Cabbage also contains beta carotene, which can enhance a hermit crabs exo coloration.
Red Bell Pepper
Red bell peppers are a good source of Thiamin, Riboflavin, Pantothenic Acid, Vitamin E, manganese and potassium and are rich in Beta-Carotene. They also have twice as much Vitamin C as citrus fruit.
Red Raspberry Leaf
High in tannins and Flavonoids. It also contains Ellagiac acid made from tannin molecules, which has anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties, binding to bacteria or viri causing them to become inactive.

Spinach
Provides a good source of Zinc, cellulose, Protein, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E (Alpha Tocopherol), Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Copper and Manganese. Spinach also contains high amounts of beta carotene. However it should be fed occasionally due to the high amounts of oxalates present in the leaves.
Spirulina
Contains protien, fatty acids, beta carotene, iodine, and chlorophyll--a natural cleanser! Should be at the top of a crabbers seaweed list for their crabbies captive diet!
Wakame
A natural source of protein, calcium, iodine, magnesium, iron and iodine.

Flowers:

Bee Pollen

Contains trace minerals and elements, amino acids and beta-carotene. Bee Pollen also has anti-inflammatory properies.
Blue Malva

Calendula
Have a healing, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. The orange flowers contain lots of flavanoids as well as the orange pigment carotene. Calendula tea has been shown to help heal ulcerations and open wounds.
Chamomile
Another flower with anti-inflammatory and anti-septic properties and can be used in tea-form to treat open sores.

Elderberry Flowers
Only flowers and berries are used, as the bark and leaves have a cyanogenic component. The flowers contain free fatty acids as well as flavanoids
Hibiscus flowers
Hibiscus flowers are high in antioxidants such as flavinoids, not to mention the rich pink and red coloration that will add a touch of color to your hermit crabs exo if fed and eaten regularly.
Honeysuckle
Has been shown to have cleansing and anti-inflammatory properties.
Jasmine
A small white flower with anti-inflammatory properties and can reduce irritation to sensative tissue, making it a great food for crabbies who are stressed, injured or sick.

Red Clover
When used topically the leaves promote healing of small open wounds. The leaves and flowers area a good source of magnesium, copper, calcium, chromium, iron, phosphorus and vitamins A, B and C.
Roses
Roses rich in color have the potential to add a bit of color to your hermit crabs exo when fed and eaten on a regular basis. Rose petals also have an anti-oxidant property protecting tissues from harmful free radicals.
Rose Hips
The fruit/seeds of roses. They are high in calcium, carotene, and Vitamin C.

Almonds

Extra Coconut Oil (EVCO)
Extra Virgin Coconut Oil has been found to have antioxidant and antibacterial/viral/fungal properties. But its also full of fatty acids that are important and naturally found in a hermit crabs wild diet.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)
Made from the first pressing of ground olives, this oil is unrefined. EVOO is full of fatty acids that are important and essential in a hermit crabs diet.
